Privacy: what I collect and why
When you sign up for a live session, the form asks for three things:
First name
So the session confirmation and the email are addressed to a person, not a number.
Email address
To send a one-time login for the training room, and a reminder before the live session starts. The Meet link is never posted on a public page.
WhatsApp number
Optional. Only used if a session time changes at short notice. Leave it blank if you prefer.
That is the whole list. I do not collect your ID number, your address, your bank details, or any information about your bookmaker accounts. I have no way to see your bets, your balances, or your results.
What happens to it
- Stored by Netlify, which hosts this site, as a form submission.
- Emailed through Resend, a transactional email service, so the login reaches you.
- Never sold, rented, or shared with any bookmaker, exchange, or advertiser. Not once, not anonymised, not in aggregate.
- Deleted on request. Reply to any email from me and ask, and it is removed.
You can unsubscribe from the emails at any time with one click in any message. That does not affect your access to the site or the calculators, which need no account.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not set advertising cookies and does not run a third-party tracking pixel on the pages themselves. If that changes, this section changes with it and the date at the top of this page updates.
Your rights under POPIA
South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act gives you the right to ask what personal information is held about you, to ask for it to be corrected, and to ask for it to be deleted. You also have the right to object to it being processed. To exercise any of those, email jo@matchedbetting.co.za, or use the contact form on the live session page, and say what you want done. There is no charge and no form to fill in.
About the AiProfit links on this site
This needs to be stated plainly, because people should know why the links are here.
I do not make commission from this site. AiProfit links use my referral URL so I can see who found the tools from this guide. It costs you exactly the same as going there directly.
I recommend those tools because they are the ones I actually used to produce the numbers published here. Every figure in the record is traced to a tracked bet, including the losses and the mistakes. You can verify that yourself on the journey page.
If you would rather not use my link, the tools are easy to find without it. Nothing on this site depends on you using it.

This site is for adults only. You must be 18 or older to place a bet with any licensed South African operator, and nothing here is intended for anyone younger.
Not financial, tax or legal advice
This is one person's documented record of a process, published so you can see what it actually involved. It is not financial advice, tax advice, legal advice, or a recommendation to bet. It is not a guarantee of income. Nobody can guarantee an outcome from this or any other betting strategy.
Matched betting is not risk free
When the process is followed correctly, both sides of a bet are covered and the outcome of the match does not decide whether you make or lose money. That is the whole point. But the process can still go wrong, and it did for me:
- R6,069 lost late in the run to impatience: extra spins past the free allocation, and an unlaid bet I was sure would win.
- R3,505 lost on one offer where the deposit became a bound balance I could not withdraw.
- Smaller losses from odds moving between placing the two sides, and from forgetting a lay.

Money you cannot afford to lose
Matched betting requires float, and the float is real money sitting in real accounts while bets settle. The honest number for this record was R50,626.65 in total, recycled from offer to offer rather than spent. If you do not have that kind of float available, start with the smallest offers and accept that progress will be slower. Never stake money you cannot afford to lose.
Independent guide
This site is an independent guide. It is not owned by, endorsed by, or affiliated with any bookmaker or betting exchange named on it. Bookmaker and exchange names are used descriptively, to describe what I actually did. BetMatch and AiProfit are separate businesses, and this site is not part of either.
Accuracy
Offer terms, bonus amounts, and wagering requirements change constantly and without notice. Everything on the journey page was true when I did it, which is why every entry is dated. It is not a promise that the same offer exists today. Always verify terms on the bookmaker's own page before you deposit.
